Cinch pack or structured backpack
A drawstring cinch pack is one panel of fabric with cord straps. It is light, it packs flat for shipping, and it is the right choice for a fun run, a school event or a sports giveaway. It has no padding, no structure and the cord straps will dig in under weight. A structured backpack has a padded back panel, shaped shoulder straps and compartments, and is what you buy when someone will carry it every day.
Laptop protection is not a feature list item
If the bag will carry a laptop, look for a padded sleeve that is suspended above the base of the bag rather than sitting on it, so the machine does not take the impact when the bag is set down. Many bags list a laptop pocket without padding it. This is worth checking on the specification rather than assuming, and it is the most common cause of disappointment with a branded backpack.
Decoration on technical fabric
Backpacks here take screen printing and silk screen for solid marks, full color for detailed artwork, heat transfer for applications on coated and water resistant fabric, and embroidery on woven panels.
