Custom Packaging and Branded Boxes
Packaging is the part of a promotion people touch before they see the product inside. A printed mailer box, a magnetic gift box or a satin ribbon with your logo turns an ordinary shipment into a branded delivery.
This section groups everything used to hold, ship and present a gift: Gift Boxes for presentation, Mailer Boxes for shipping, Tubes and Canisters for rolled and cylindrical items, and Gift Wrap for ribbon, bows and custom tissue.
Shipping box or presentation box
Decide first whether the box has to survive a parcel carrier or only a handover. Mailer boxes in E-flute or B-flute corrugated board are built for shipping, with the print on the outside so the brand shows on the doorstep. Rigid and magnetic closure gift boxes look better on a desk but are not shipping cartons; when they are mailed, they usually need an outer box.
Plastic mailers and padded bubble mailers suit flat or soft items such as apparel, where a box would only add bulk and postage.
Dimensional weight
Parcel carriers bill by the larger of actual weight and dimensional weight, which is calculated from the box size. An oversized box around a light gift can cost more to ship than the gift itself, so size the carton to the contents and check the shipping cost of the packed item before choosing a box.
Decoration and inserts
Full color printing on mailer boxes covers the outside and, on many styles, the inside as well for an unboxing reveal. Gift boxes are usually marked more quietly with a foil stamp, a printed seal or a custom label.
