Custom Calendars with Your Logo

A calendar is the one promotional item with a built in reason to stay visible for twelve months. This range covers magnetic calendars that live on a refrigerator or a filing cabinet, wall and press-on-stick formats for offices, and pocket and card sizes for handouts. The format decides where it ends up, and where it ends up decides whether anyone sees your logo in October.

Magnet, wall or pocket

Magnetic calendars are the most reliable performer because they attach to a surface people look at every day without needing a nail or free wall. They suit trades, healthcare, real estate and anyone whose customer calls them once a year. Wall calendars give far more room for imagery and are appropriate when the calendar itself is the gift. Pocket and card formats are cheap to mail and easy to include in an envelope, but they are the format most likely to be thrown away, so use them as an addition rather than the main item.

Plan for the calendar year, not the campaign

Calendars are the one category with a hard expiry date, and the buying window is earlier than most people expect. A calendar handed out in February has lost a sixth of its useful life before it reaches the wall. If you are ordering for a new year, place the order in autumn. If you have missed that window, a two year or academic format starting mid year is a better use of the budget than a dated calendar arriving late.

Worth saying plainly: we would rather move you to an undated planner than sell you a January calendar in March.

Printing and readability

Calendars are printed four color process, which handles photographs and full color artwork. The trap is legibility. A calendar is a functional object first, so date numerals need to stay readable against whatever image sits behind them, and contact details need to be large enough to read from arm length on a refrigerator. Keep your logo and phone number in a clear band rather than overlaying them on a busy photo.

Calendars pair naturally with notepads and magnets for a mailed desk pack. For dated books rather than wall formats see journals, and for the pen that goes with them see pens.
