Custom Shaped Note Pads and Memo Cubes

A die-cut note pad in the shape of your product, a house, a truck, or a tooth is recognized before it is read. That shape does the work of a logo, and because the pad sits on a desk being used sheet by sheet, the recognition repeats daily for as long as it lasts. The range covers adhesive die-cut pads in stock and custom shapes, non-adhesive memo cubes in full color, and stock shape pads covering common industry symbols. For standard pads see Notepads and Sticky Notes.

Stock shapes or custom die

Stock shapes cover a surprising range already: houses, delivery trucks, hearts, feet, teeth, globes, beakers, golf balls, bandages. Because the cutting die already exists, there is no tooling charge and lead times are short. For most businesses one of these will match closely enough.

A custom die cuts your own shape, which is the stronger option for a product or building with a distinctive silhouette. It carries a one-time tooling charge and a longer first-run lead time, and it pays for itself if you reorder the same shape for years.

Adhesive or cube

Adhesive die-cut pads stick to a monitor, a door, or a file, which puts the shape on a vertical surface where other people see it. They are the better choice when the message needs to travel.

Memo cubes are a solid block of sheets, printed on all four sides in full color, so the branding is visible even when the cube is full. They occupy desk space in a satisfying way and last a long time, which makes them a better client gift than a thin pad.

Getting the design right

Keep the printed content inside the shape rather than fighting it. A die-cut pad has an irregular writing area, and a design that assumes a rectangle will be cut through.

Print on the sheets, not only on the backing board. The branding should be visible on every sheet that leaves the pad, since that is where the reach comes from.
