Custom Apparel and Accessories

Apparel is the only promotional category the recipient chooses to put on. That decision is made in front of a closet every morning, and it is what separates branded clothing from everything else: the wearer is not just keeping your logo, they are endorsing it in public. It follows that fit, fabric, and color matter more than the logo. A shirt that feels good gets worn for years. A shirt that does not never leaves the drawer, and no amount of embroidery quality changes that.

Tops and layers

Shirts cover polos, tees, and button-ups and are the broadest section. Hoodies and Sweatshirts are the most requested items by anyone under forty. Jackets, Coats and Vests are the highest-value pieces and the ones worn outdoors where other people see them. Pants and Uniforms complete the working wardrobe.

Headwear

Caps and Hats put a logo at eye level in public, which no other item does. Beanies are the cold-weather equivalent and are worn for more hours per day than any cap. Visors belong to golf and racquet sports.

Worn accessories

Sunglasses, Watches, Socks, Scarves, Gloves, Headbands, Bandanas and Wristbands are worn on the body in public, which is the most visible placement available. Wallets, Earrings and Accessories sit alongside them.

The two things that decide an apparel order

First, sizes. Collect them in advance whenever you can. When you cannot, weight the run toward large and extra large and order real extended sizes rather than a token few. Offer both men’s and women’s cuts, since a single unisex run quietly tells half your audience the garment was not made for them.

Second, color. People wear black, navy, charcoal, khaki, and white. A bright brand color looks excellent in a proof and then lives in a drawer. Let the decoration carry the brand color and let the garment be one people already wear.
