Why packaging earns its cost
A gift that arrives in proper packaging signals that someone chose it rather than grabbed it. For client gifting and recognition that signal is most of the point.
Rigid packaging also protects the contents, which matters for anything glass, ceramic, or breakable being shipped to a home address. A dented outer box undermines a premium gift before it is opened.
Tubes and cylindrical boxes
A cylindrical tube suits bottles, rolled items, drinkware, and anything tall. It ships well, it stands up on a desk, and the curved surface takes a full wrap print.
Magnetic closure boxes open like a book and hold the contents in place. They are the format used for premium gift sets and they are frequently kept and reused, which extends the life of your branding well past the gift.
Practical notes
Size the packaging to the contents. A large box with a small item inside reads as padding; a box the item barely fits into looks improvised. Most suppliers offer inserts, which are worth the cost for multi-item sets.
