Custom Can Coolers and Koozies with Your Logo

A can cooler is the cheapest way to put a logo into someone’s hand at a social occasion, and it is one of the very few promotional items that people actively collect. They end up in a kitchen drawer in quantity, pulled out whenever there is a barbecue, a game, or a cooler on a porch, which means the brand keeps reappearing for years at exactly the kind of gathering where recommendations happen. The range covers collapsible neoprene sleeves, foam koozies, stainless steel insulated can holders, slim can coolers for tall cans, and bottle coolers. For vacuum insulated drinkware, see Tumblers.

Match the cooler to the can

This is the mistake that ruins an order. A standard 12 oz can cooler fits a regular soda or beer can. A slim can cooler fits the taller, narrower cans used by seltzers, energy drinks, and many craft producers, and the two are not interchangeable in either direction. A standard sleeve on a slim can slides around uselessly.

If you do not know what your audience drinks, the safe answer is standard. If the item is for a brewery, a distillery, or a seltzer brand, measure their actual can before ordering.

Foam, neoprene, or stainless

Collapsible foam koozies are the classic. They fold flat, ship for almost nothing, and are the cheapest item in the category. They are also the least durable: the foam eventually tears at the seam.

Neoprene sleeves are thicker, insulate better, and hold their shape. They feel more substantial and are the right choice when the item is a gift rather than a handout. Stitched seams outlast glued ones.

Stainless steel insulated holders are a different product entirely. Double-walled and vacuum insulated, they keep a can genuinely cold for hours rather than minutes, and many accept a bottle or work as a small tumbler with an adapter. They cost several times a neoprene sleeve and they get treated as a real possession.

What a koozie actually does

Worth being straight about this. A foam or neoprene sleeve does very little to keep a drink cold. What it mostly does is stop condensation, which keeps the hand dry and the can grippable, and it slows the transfer of body heat from the hand into the can. That is genuinely useful and it is not the same as insulation.

If someone needs a drink to stay cold for an hour in the sun, they need the stainless version or a cooler. Selling a foam koozie as serious insulation sets up a disappointment that nobody needed.

Printing

Screen printing handles one to four spot colors on foam and neoprene and is the economical standard. Full color dye sublimation on neoprene wraps a photographic design all the way around the sleeve, with no seam in the artwork, and it is the reason can coolers work so well for events, weddings, and team merchandise where the design is the point.

Remember the sleeve is a cylinder that gets rotated in the hand constantly, so a design that reads from every angle beats a logo on one face. On stainless holders, laser engraving gives a permanent mark and pad printing gives color.

Where they work

Breweries, distilleries, and beverage brands treat them as standard merchandise. Beyond that: tailgates and stadium promotions, golf tournaments, summer festivals, boat and marina businesses, real estate agents in warm markets, and construction and trades audiences who genuinely use them on site.

They are also one of the best low-cost items for a wedding or a milestone event, because the recipients keep them specifically as a memento, which is a level of retention almost nothing else at this price achieves. Browse related items in Drinkware.
