Custom Notebooks with Your Logo
Notebooks are the everyday working end of the paper range: mini jotters that live in a shirt pocket, spiral bound books for note taking, and stitch bound formats that sit somewhere between a notebook and a journal. Many here ship as a notebook and pen set, which is the standard conference handout. If you are deciding between this category and journals, the difference is finish. Notebooks are for writing in; journals are for giving.

Notebook or journal
The distinction is not about page count. A notebook here has a paper or card cover, a simple binding and a working feel, and it is priced so you can hand out several hundred without thinking about it. A journal has a soft touch, leatherette or hardback cover, a ribbon or elastic closure and a presentation feel, and it is priced as a gift. Buy notebooks for a training room, journals for a client.
Size does the work
Mini formats around three by five inches fit a shirt pocket and a lanyard pouch, which makes them the right choice for events, site inductions and anywhere people are standing rather than sitting. Five by eight is the working size for a desk or a training session. Larger than that and a notebook stops being carried, so buy the large sizes only if they will stay in one place.
Binding and how it behaves
Spiral and coil open flat and fold back, which is what you want for standing note taking, but the wire snags in a bag. Top bound and flip formats suit quick notes and lists rather than pages of writing. Stitch bound books lie flatter than glue bound ones and hold together better over a year of use.
Paper is the part people notice
This is worth saying plainly because it is where cheap notebooks disappoint: thin recycled sheets will show through and, with a gel or rollerball pen, will bleed. If you are pairing a notebook with a pen as a set, either specify a heavier paper or hand out a ballpoint. A recycled notebook is a good sustainability story right up to the moment someone writes on both sides of a page and cannot read either.
