Custom Phone Chargers and Power Banks with Your Logo

Charging products are the promotional category people actually go looking for, because everyone has run a phone flat at a conference. This range covers power banks with their own battery, car and wall chargers that supply power from a socket, and multi tip charging cables that work across phone and laptop connectors. The first question is whether the recipient needs stored power or just a connection, because that is the difference between a power bank and everything else here.

Power bank or charger

A power bank carries its own charge and works with no socket, which is what someone on a trade show floor or a construction site actually needs. A car or wall charger is smaller and cheaper but useless without a power source. A charging cable is the cheapest item here and the one most likely to be kept in a bag as a spare. All three are useful; they solve different problems and are not interchangeable.

Connectors change, so buy multi tip

A cable with a single connector will be obsolete for part of your audience on the day you hand it out. Three in one cables carrying USB-C, Lightning and micro USB avoid the problem entirely and cost very little more. Unless you are buying for a fleet of identical company devices, specify multi tip. This is the most common regret in the category.

Capacity and charging speed

Power bank capacity is stated in milliamp hours. As a rough guide, a modern phone battery sits in the low thousands, so a small bank gives roughly one full recharge and a larger one gives two or more. Pay attention to output as well as capacity: a bank with a low output will charge a phone slowly and will not charge a laptop at all, regardless of how much capacity it holds. If the intended use is a laptop, check for USB-C power delivery specifically.

A shipping restriction worth knowing early

Anything containing a lithium battery is classed as dangerous goods for air freight. That affects lead time, it can affect which courier can deliver, and it makes international shipping more complicated than for a printed pen. If you have a tight deadline or you are shipping across borders, raise the battery question at the quote stage rather than after the order is placed.
