Lures as promotional items
A lure is small, light to ship, and instantly recognizable to the audience it suits. A logo printed on the body of a lure is seen every time the tackle box is opened.
Lures with hooks bring the same handling considerations as any sharp item, so they should be supplied in packaging that protects the recipient.
For a general audience, a lure presented in a gift tube or pillow box works as a novelty. For anglers, the lure needs to be one they would actually tie on.
Tackle boxes
A small tackle box is a more substantial gift and doubles as a storage box for anything small, which extends its life beyond fishing.
Note that fishing regulations vary and some waters restrict lure types, which is not your problem to solve but is worth knowing if you are marketing to a specific region.
These suit marinas and boat dealers, outdoor retailers, tourism boards in fishing regions, insurance and banks in rural markets, and charity fishing tournaments. Browse the wider range in Outdoor & Sports.
