Custom Buttons and Name Badges

A button is worn on clothing, at chest height, facing whoever the wearer is talking to. Buttons for campaigns

Buttons are fast, cheap, and effective for causes, awareness months, elections, and fundraising. A simple design in strong colors reads from across a room, which is all a button needs to do.

Carded buttons, where one or more buttons are mounted on a printed card, turn a giveaway into a small package. The card carries the detailed message while the button carries the symbol, which is a better division of labor than cramming both onto the button.

Name badges

A printed name badge should be readable from conversational distance, which means a larger name than most designs use. Role or department in smaller text underneath is genuinely useful at events and in customer-facing settings.

Consider the fastening. A pin puts a hole in a garment, which staff in good clothing resent. A magnetic backing costs slightly more and is much better received for anything worn daily.

Practical notes

Buttons are one of the few promotional items practical in very small runs, which makes them suitable for individual teams, single events, or testing a design before a larger campaign.
